Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated November 4, 2026

These terms govern your participation in the Planned affiliate program (the “Program”) run by Get It Planned, Inc. (“Planned,” “we”). By applying to or participating in the Program, you (“you,” the “affiliate”) agree to them. The Program is administered through our partner portal at affiliates.getitplanned.com, which is provided by Tolt.

1. Joining the Program

We review every application and may approve or decline any applicant at our discretion. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Approval does not make you an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer of Planned, and you may not make commitments on our behalf.

2. Commissions

  • You earn 20% of each payment a referred customer makes for a Planned AI subscription (monthly or annual), for as long as that subscription stays active.
  • Planned’s one-on-one Coach plan, and any product we tell you is excluded, does not earn commission.
  • A customer counts as your referral if they sign up within 30 days of first clicking your affiliate link. If a customer clicked more than one affiliate’s link, the first click gets the credit.
  • Commissions are calculated on the amount actually paid, after discounts and excluding taxes. Payments made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not currently tracked and do not earn commission.
  • Referred customers who subscribe to the monthly Planned AI plan through your link get 50% off their first month, applied automatically at checkout.

3. Approval, refunds and payouts

  • Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it came from before it is approved, so that refunds and chargebacks can settle.
  • If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is reversed. If that commission was already paid, the amount is deducted from your future payouts.
  • Approved commissions are paid monthly, about 15 days after the end of the month, once your approved balance reaches $25. Smaller balances carry over.
  • Payouts are sent by PayPal or Wise to the account you set in the partner portal. You are responsible for any fees your payment provider charges and for your own taxes. We may require tax forms (such as a W-9 or W-8) before paying you.

4. Disclosure

You must clearly disclose your relationship with Planned whenever you promote it, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and any other law that applies to you. The disclosure must be close to the recommendation itself, in plain words, and easy to notice. For example: “I earn a commission if you sign up for Planned through my link.” A hashtag or a label like “#affiliate” or “partner” on its own is not enough, and neither is a disclosure only on a separate page.

Your reviews and recommendations must reflect your honest opinion and, where you describe using Planned, your actual experience.

5. How you may and may not promote Planned

Planned is a personal finance product, so these rules are strict. You may not:

  • Promise or imply specific results, such as an amount of money saved, debt paid off, investment returns or a credit score change.
  • Describe Planned as investment, tax, legal or individualized financial advice, or say that you are giving such advice on Planned’s behalf.
  • Make claims about Planned’s features, pricing, security or coaching that are not on our website, or use outdated pricing.
  • Bid on “Planned,” “getitplanned,” “Get It Planned” or close variations or misspellings as keywords in search or social ads, or use them in ad copy or display URLs.
  • Post your link or the referral discount on coupon, deal, cashback, rebate or incentive sites, or offer people anything of your own in exchange for signing up.
  • Send spam or unsolicited messages, or otherwise break anti-spam laws.
  • Refer yourself, your household, or accounts you control, or create fake or duplicate accounts.
  • Use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden links, or any other method that credits you for customers you did not genuinely refer.
  • Imply that you are Planned, or that Planned endorses you, or register domains or social accounts that include our name.
  • Promote Planned alongside content that is misleading, hateful, sexually explicit, or that promotes illegal activity.

You may use the Planned name, logo and screenshots we provide, only to promote the Program and only as we provide them. We may ask you to change or remove any content that mentions Planned, and you agree to do so promptly.

6. Breaking these terms

If you break these terms, we may withhold or reverse commissions earned through the violation, suspend your account, or remove you from the Program. Commissions tied to fraud or a prohibited promotion method are forfeited.

7. Changes and ending participation

We may change these terms, the commission rate or the Program at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the partner portal or by email, and continuing in the Program after a change means you accept it. Changes do not affect commissions already approved.

Either of us may end your participation at any time. If we end it for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will pay approved commissions you earned before it ended, once they reach the payout minimum. If the Program itself ends, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.

8. Legal

The Program is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Planned is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost commissions caused by tracking or technical failures, and our total liability to you is limited to the commissions paid to you in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for your own promotional content and agree to cover Planned for claims that arise from it or from your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Our Terms of Use also apply to your use of Planned.
